Min Fin

Well, hopefully it’s not too late to submit, but here’s something small I’ve been working on to participate in this bruin project competition: The project is called *min-fin:* a minimal, metadata-based, on-budget personal finance tracker, built with Databricks Free Edition and bruin. • Schema and dashboard are built with Databricks Asset Bundles and deployed onto a Databricks workspace via Makefile • Bruin handles the ETL pipelines (seed files for institution metadata/transaction categorization, bronze-silver level ingestions for local data files into Databricks) • Ibis under-the-hood handles dataframe manipulation so that data can be moved smoothly between tables that bruin builds Source code:
