A live confession booth for
Data Group Therapy
A livestream where data people and the business people who work with them show up to vent, confess, and finally say it out loud. No slides. No vendor pitches. Just the truth, with the names changed to protect the still-employed.

The Pitch
Everyone who's ever touched a dashboard has a story they can't tell at work.
The dashboard nobody uses. The pipeline held together with cron and prayers. The "quick chart" from six weeks ago. The metric you've been quoting for two years that you secretly don't trust. This is the space for those stories.
The Format
45 minutes. No fixing. Just listening.
One host, a rotating co-host, 3–5 confessors, and 1–2 panel members. Everyone participates.
- 0110 min
Submitted Confessions
The host reads selected form submissions out loud. Panel reacts.
- 0220 min
Roundtable Confessions
Each confessor shares one frustration. Panel reacts. No one fixes anything.
- 035–10 min
The Hot Seat
One volunteer goes deeper. Panel helps unpack it. Skipped if no one volunteers.
- 045–10 min
Closing
Lessons learned, solution ideas, audience Q&A worked in if there's time.
How you can show up
Three ways in. Pick the one that fits.
From "stay home, stay anonymous" to "join the panel" — each mode comes with its own anonymity options.
Mode 01 · Lowest lift
Submit a story
Write it, send it, stay home. The host reads selected confessions on air, the panel reacts. You never appear.
- Fully anonymous if you want — pseudonym, generic title, or real name, your call
- No call attendance required, ever
- Your email is only used to confirm receipt — never shared, never displayed
Mode 02 · Join the call
Confess on air
Show up live as a confessor. Share one frustration, get nodded at, leave lighter. No fixing, no advice unless you ask for it.
- Camera + full name, or voice-only with a pseudonym — pick your level of cover
- 24-hour cut window: pull your segment before the recording goes public
- Bring your own modulator or avatar setup if you want extra cover — we don't provide one
Mode 03 · Active role
Sit on the panel
React to submitted confessions and roundtable shares. Bring perspective, push back, share war stories. The closest thing to therapy with a license.
- Camera + real name only — panel is on the record
- LinkedIn required at signup so we can confirm your background
- Active engagement expected — not a passive seat
Panel members are selected based on qualification. We curate for voices with the experience to hold technical depth and substantive discussion — not just hot takes.
The Themes
One theme per episode. All hits, no fillers.
Episode 01 · The Premiere
The Dashboard Graveyard
Bring the dashboards no one opens, the metrics no one trusts, and the executive request that started it all. We will not judge. Loudly.

The Sign-Up
Pick how you want to show up.
One form, three ways in. Choose any combination — confessor + panel works too.
The fine print
Not Bruin-branded — streamed via Bruin's LinkedIn and YouTube. Commercial distance, on purpose. The conversations belong to the practitioners, not the sponsors.
