Can Bruin run in our own cloud?
Yes. Bruin runs in Bruin Cloud, your own VPC on AWS, GCP or Azure, or on-premises, with private connectivity to your sources. You pick the region your tenant runs in, EU included.
Who can see patient-level data in Bruin?
Only the roles you set: access is scoped per team, channel and asset, so shared channels can answer from aggregates while patient-level tables stay with the teams that need them.
Does Bruin keep an audit trail of who saw patient data?
Yes. Audit logs record every query, asset change, access and admin action, including the queries behind every AI answer, so you can show who queried patient-level tables.
Does Bruin use patient data to train AI models?
No. Your data never trains any model, ours or a third party’s. The AI reads schema and metadata, runs SQL in your warehouse, and calls models only through enterprise endpoints with no-training agreements.
How does Bruin protect patient data?
Bruin is SOC 2 Type 2 attested and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified. Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2 or newer in transit, and the SOC 2 report is available under NDA.
