How do I know Bruin’s OEE numbers are right?

Which manufacturing systems does Bruin connect to?
Your MES and ERP through their databases (SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA, Postgres) or exports, machine data from InfluxDB or Kafka, spreadsheets, and thousands more tools through APIs.
Does Bruin need access to our machines on the shop floor?
No. Bruin reads from systems that already collect the data, like your MES, historian or a read replica. Nothing changes on the shop floor, and it can run in your VPC.
Can Bruin write the shift report for every line?
Yes. Schedule output, OEE, scrap and downtime by reason for every line at shift change, posted to the handover channel or sent as a PDF.
Can Bruin trace machine downtime back to a cause?
Yes. It joins machine stops with batches, material lots and supplier data, so a run of jams traces back to the lot, shift or changeover behind it.
Can Bruin alert us when a production line falls behind?
Yes. Set a rule, like a line under 65% OEE for a shift or scrap above target, and Bruin posts it to the line’s channel and tags the right engineer.
