Microsoft SharePoint integration

Microsoft SharePoint data, in your warehouse.

A built-in ingestr connector: add credentials, pick tables, schedule it.

name: raw.table
type: ingestr
parameters:
  source_connection: microsoft_sharepoint
  source_table: '<table>'
  destination: snowflake
  incremental_strategy: merge

$ bruin run assets/raw/microsoft_sharepoint.asset.yml

  1. extract · Microsoft SharePoint dataincremental
  2. load · snowflake raw.datamerged
  3. checks · not_null, unique

Loaded and checked. Downstream models can run.

How it connects

Connected in three steps.

SharePoint Online is Microsoft's document management and collaboration platform. ingestr can read files (Excel and CSV) from a SharePoint document library through the Microsoft Graph API. Each file (or glob of files) is landed as raw rows. Cell values are kept as text and a few extra columns are added to record each row's source file, sheet, and position.

  1. 01

Add a Microsoft SharePoint connection with its credentials.

  2. 02

Pick the tables to load and how: replace, append or merge.

  3. 03

Bruin runs it on your schedule and checks every load.
